How Long Will My Appointment Take?

We are quick, yet effective. It really depends on two factors: hair-length, and level of infestation. We estimate anywhere from 30 minutes for short hair with a mild case, to 90+ minutes for long hair with a severe infestation.

We will provide you with a proof of clearance, which certifies to your child's school that they are able to resume their normal routine without the threat of spreading lice, having been treated by a Lice Vegas professional.

The Lice Eradication Process

We are in business to completely eradicate head lice for your family. Our experience proves the most effective way to accomplish this is by the following process:

  • All household members screened for evidence of head lice.
  • All heads found with head lice treated by Lice Vegas.
  • Parents must adhere to the post-treatment recommendations provided by their Lice Vegas clinician for 5-7 days.
  • Follow-up head check scheduled with Lice Vegas 5-7 days after initial treatment.

Do I Really Need a Follow-Up Appointment?

Yes. Nits are incredibly tiny! And even the most diligent of removal techniques cannot guarantee a 100% eradication on the first application. To ensure that your family is lice-free it is necessary to schedule the follow-up 5-7 days post initial treatment, to rid the hair of any that may have hatched in the interim. The follow-up will be much faster, usually completed in half the time of the initial appointment.
